About the Role
- Perform industrial welding tasks including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on structural steel, piping, and heavy equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Inspect welds for accuracy and strength, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Operate welding tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
Proven experience as a welder in an industrial or construction setting.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents or plans.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Must pass welding test and meet physical requirement of the job.
Willingness to work long hours, weekends and out of town projects.
